中文04 / PACKAGING & BRAND PRESENTATION
Make the unboxing part of the product plan. Bring protection, packaging and brand details into the brief before the first parcel is prepared.
EVERY DETAIL HAS A JOB
Select a layer to see what belongs in the brief. Available materials, minimums and custom work are confirmed with the team.
ILLUSTRATIVE PACKAGING / DESIGN BRIEF
OUTER PACK
Choose the structure, dimensions and protection first. Then discuss print, material and finish so the packaging serves the product as well as the brand.
BRAND INSERT
A card, instruction sheet or other insert should have a clear role. Define the contents and which products or orders receive it.
PACKING RULE
Specify which pack belongs to which product and how multi-item orders should be handled. Confirm the instruction before using it on customer orders.
BEFORE THE PARCEL MOVES
Provide artwork, colors, product dimensions and your reference packaging.
Confirm materials, quantities, cost and any production requirements.
Specify the SKUs, inserts, labels and multi-item combinations.
Make sure the agreed packaging is ready before it is used for orders.
The actual sourcing request form has separate packaging and brand/logo fields. Use them to start the brief, and attach the product specifications and references needed to understand it.
Availability, quantities, print options and lead times depend on the packaging. Confirm the options and quotation with the team before making a production commitment.
Begin with product protection, dimensions and fragility. Then compare packed weight, volume and appearance. A smaller pack can be helpful, but protection comes first.
Discuss the change, the remaining materials and the first order that should use the new instruction. Confirm the handoff so old and new rules are not mixed.
